About Funsail
Funsail has been proudly operating for over a decade, delivering safe, professional, and enjoyable sailing instruction to sailors of all levels.
Our instructors are fully certified through Sail Canada, ASA, and NauticEd, and bring real-world experience gained over years on the water—not straight out of the classroom. We focus on practical seamanship, confidence-building, and skills that translate directly to real sailing conditions.
All classes are taught aboard a Transport Canada–certified Hunter 36 keelboat, offering a stable, comfortable, and well-equipped learning environment.
Beyond instruction, we’re active members of the sailing community. We’re avid club racers at the Bronte Sailing Club, staying sharp, current, and connected to the sport we love.
Funsail is truly a family operation. The skipper sails alongside first mate Susan, and our most popular crew member is Olive the SeaDog, often spotted on board in her life jacket and ready to greet new sailors.
